How It All Started
In 2011, Brad Huigens had a frustrating experience that would change everything. After hiring a company to install sun screens on his home, he was left with a subpar product that fell apart within months. Rather than accept poor quality, Brad decided to take matters into his own hands.
He rebuilt every single screen himself, learning the craft from the ground up. What he discovered was eye-opening: with the right materials, proper techniques, and genuine care, sun screens could last for years—not months. This revelation sparked a mission.

Brad started Southwest Sun Screens in 2011 after rebuilding his own screens. When he's not perfecting installations, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring Arizona's beautiful landscapes.

Lead Installer
Patrick brings precision and dedication to every job. A Phoenix native, he knows Arizona homes inside and out. Outside of work, he's an avid golfer and loves coaching his kids' soccer team.

Senior Technician
Matt's attention to detail ensures every screen is installed perfectly. He's been with the team for 5 years and takes pride in making customers smile. On weekends, you'll find him hiking or at a Suns game.

Installation Specialist
Ryan is the newest member but has quickly become a customer favorite. His friendly attitude and quick work make him invaluable. He loves camping in the desert and is learning to play guitar.
